OK, so I'm sitting here reading The Bloggess at 1am (who happens to be guest posting on Her Bad Mother today) and I skim through the comments. Got me thinking.
If you see a trash bag or a large grocery sack in the road do you make every effort to NOT run over it because you fear there might be a baby or puppies or kittens in it?
Now, I realize that if I REALLY thought there might be a baby or puppies or kittens in the bag, I should probably pull over and check, but I guess I'm just not that much of a nutjob. Or maybe that makes me more of a nutjob??? Please tell me that other people have this...errr...fear?

I totally do that and Matt makes horrible fun of me. I redeem myself with this story. My HS boyfriend's dad hit a paper bag on the road one time that someone had lovingly placed a concrete block in. It destroyed one of his tires.
I totally do that!!!
A long time ago my Dad told me a story about a semi-truck driver that saw a large cardboard box in the road. Normally the guy would have hit the box and desroyed it, but he decided to avoid it. When he looked in his rearview mirror, two little kids crawled out of the box and proceeded to pull it across the road.
I realize that this is likely an old wives' tale, but since Dad told it to me, I've lived in fear of killing something in a box or bag.
THANK YOU!!! Chris makes fun of me to no end, too. I'm so glad I'm in such good company :o).
I do it too. I always worry it is something that will damage my car and the worst would be a bag of puppies or kittens.
